Reasonable prices, fantastic coffee, food and baked goods. Service was fast and excellent. I love this place!

Red Horse is awesome! Roasting their own beans gives them a huge edge over many of the local coffee stops. Just like any café, you might get overwhelmed by the amount of options available, but the staff is super helpful and friendly. Also, their food is great!

Adorable little cafe with great breakfast. We enjoyed the veggie burrito and breakfast sandwich on the patio next to a burbling brook. Prices were reasonable too.

Very good service and atmosphere. The artisan bread is great on sandwiches also the smoothie options are all fresh ingredients, oh and of course the coffee flavors, yum!

A must-stop every time I'm in Joseph. The quinoa power bowl is one of my favorite salads on the planet and the half portion is gigantic. Enjoying the sunshine while sitting outside by the creek watching the world go by is icing on the cake.

Very nice shop, but my American was flat/ weak.. - not bad, just vague. Else, good pastry, clean...

Great place for coffee and breakfast

I would have to say, this is one of my top favorite cafe in Oregon. For Joesph this place is up and beyond.

Tasty but my veggie sandwich was so soggy. So soggy.

Terrific food! I ate three mornings in a row. Amazing coffee also. Gluten free and vegetarian/vegan options. Simple, slow and fresh. I had a quinoa breakfast bowl and a corn cake with greens, black beans, carrots and pesto. Amazing.

What a gem of a place, the menu is inventive with out being fussy. The salad I had was excellent, my husband really liked the Dijon chicken sandwich and I stole his side corn cake after one bite. I wish I could get an organic, locally sourced meal like this is Salem. The value was great, really reasonable considering the ingredients and effort. Kathy is a very lovely, intelligent proprietor, we were delighted to have met her and lunch in her cozy establishment. Thanks for having good music and atmosphere. We will be back.

I've been here several days in a row while on vacation in Joseph and have yet to be disappointed. The coffee and food are both excellent. Even when they were obviously short-handed, the employees worked quickly and maintained a friendly attitude. Also, the wifi has been rock-solid. I will keep coming back!!

Super friendly staff. Good music on the radio. Home cooked and delicious. It feels like that neighborhood place I've been to for a long time.

Excellent coffee. Casual atmosphere. Scones are tasty. The one qualm is the inconsistent hours of operation. They do post their hours on their door but sometimes it doesn't seem to match up. I do enjoy going there for a coffee to study though.

When we make our way to Joseph we love to stop and eat breakfast here. The breakfast burrito is really, really good. If the weather is nice it is really great to sit our by the creek and enjoy your meal. There are many great things on the menu. It is nice to sit, relax, enjoy a great meal, and watch the traffic in downtown Joseph.For those that are vegetarian, there are options. It is a small space, but with the outdoor tables it is great.

Delicious food and good coffee! Staff is super nice. Even ran after me when I forgot my card! A great place to stop on our way home from a snowy camping trip.

Amazing. The coffee they roast themselves, the Food Is Absolutely Amazing; made Fresh to order. The baked goods are handmade Every Morning and are Nothing Slight of Delicious. Savory to Sweet. It's an Absolute Must when visiting Joseph, OR and Wallowa Lake.
